THEME 2 - THE WORST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN AND WHY

Like the last post, the beginning of this post is going off on a little tangent.. I'm currently sat in the porch of a cottage, in the middle of nowhere, stealing the pub next door's wifi..

We set off at 1am this morning and went to the ferry terminal in Liverpool where we had to wait about an hour and a bit.. This would have been fine, I mean, we had music, food, drinks.. But of course I was the one who had the bladder of a 3 year old at the time and I really needed a wee.. NO TOILETS TO BE SEEN! So I spent most of the time waiting to get on the ferry dancing in the back seat of the car..

As soon as we got on the boat, we got our cabin keys and went straight to bed.. It was cold, loud and /SO/ uncomfortable. I slept maybe an hour in full over the 6 hour sail.. When we woke up, my dad went to get breakfast while me and my mum got ready and by that time we were nearly in Dublin Port. When we finally got to the port, the boat was already 15 minutes late.. To add to that, we had to wait another 45 minutes waiting for someone to open the door to let us back to the cars. So we were all pretty p*ssed about that. When we finally got off of the boat we had a 4-5 hour car journey ahead of us and my god.. The only reason I'm sane at the moment is because I was listening to music..

We finally got to our destination at around 4:25pm and the first thing we did after putting the bags in was go to the pub and say hi to everyone we know here.. Me and my mum went a different pub after a while and we had Chicken Curry Half and Half (chips and rice) and went back to the pub where my dad was. At the moment, my parents are now sleeping while I'm writing this post, sitting in the conservatory of a little cottage, stealing somebody else's Wi-Fi.. Muahahahaha!

ANYWAY - ON TO THE THEME!

The second themed post will be about the worst movie I've ever seen and why.. Now I think this one is quite difficult because I don't think I've ever seen a movie which I've literally hated..

My mum hates The Matrix because she somehow doesn't understand the story..

My brother hates The Hunger Games (the b*stard) just because I love it..

I don't think my dad hates any films really..

But for me, I think I'd have to go for Team America.. You know the puppet one? I have nothing against puppets, I used to love watching Captain Scarlet and the Thunderbirds puppet version but something about Team America seriously grinds my gears. Maybe its the fact that my brother finds it hilarious how the producers have tried to make the puppets have sex and I'll just be sitting there like, "What the actual f*ck!?" It doesn't even have a storyline! Thunderbirds, they're a family who save the world.. Captain Scarlet's storyline I can't remember for the life of me, but Team America? No. So yeah, I think its safe to say that Team America is the worst movie I've ever seen..

Anyone agree with me? Anybody disagree with me? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic and your reasons for them!

THEME 1 - SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED IN HIGH SCHOOL THAT CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER

Just a little foreword here.. I'm going on holiday in 4 hours and 22 minutes.. WOO!

Anyway, the first themed post from lists I made yesterday is - "SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED IN HIGH SCHOOL THAT CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER"

Now thinking about it, not many "big" things happened to me while I was in high school.. I suppose I could say that I had my "first" boyfriend and stuff but most of the relationships I had while there never lasted longer than a month or two so I don't really know if the guys count as "proper" boyfriends..

Life changing wise though I can only really think of 2 things.. One, the whole dilemma I had a while ago where none of my friends spoke to me for a week.. That was pretty life changing because it made me realise that you can't always depend on your friends, and that you really can't trust anyone.. I was so used to depending on them to made me laugh and to make me happy and then they just weren't there, it was weird. So that was pretty life changing because it made me look at things differently and to be honest I think it was a change for the better.

The other life changing thing was applying for the apprenticeship with Unilever.. I did it while I was in an IT lesson, supposed to be doing my work. I'd just decided i didn't want to go to uni anymore so I was looking on the apprenticeship website and I found it. So I applied, not thinking I'd get anyway from it and before I know it, I was in the next stage of the application.. Then the next, and then the next, then the next again and finally I was in the last stage with 9 other people, basically competing for 1 of 5 apprenticeships they were offering. After the final assessment day I waited a week and as it turns out, I GOT IT! So that was pretty life changing because now I definitely know that if you work your butt of for something and don't give up, you'' most likely get the outcome you want. :)

There's a lesson in life from Jenny, people! ;)

Anything happen while you were in High School that was life changing for you? If so, what is it? I'd love to hear your stories. :)£

STRESS AND "BOOK-ET LIST"

I'm going on holiday "tomorrow" and I've never been more stressed in my life.. Let's get this straight, I shouldn't be, usually it's my mum who gets stressed and its safe to say that she is getting there now..

The reason that I'm stressed is because I'm doing things she's telling me to do, yet she still finds the need to have a go at me.. She told me to "clean" my room today so, there I go, getting rid of rubbish, polishing everything and then when I ask her what bin something goes in, she blows up on me. Saying that she told me to clean my room, not to get rid of everything.. I'm fine with doing things for her, and helping her around the house an stuff when she asks, but doing things she tells me to only to get a b*ll*cking.. I don't think so.. I don't see why she's cleaning anyway, my brother is just going to wreck the place when he's here home alone anyway..

ANYWAY

The "Book-et List" part of the title.. As you may or may not know, I already have a page called "My Bucket List" for the more physical things I want to do with life.. I'm going to create a page called "My Book-et List" full of books I want to read. I'm going to be using other people's posts to help me decide whats book are going on it as well as ones I've wanted to read for a while..

So, as a start, do you guys have any books you want to recommend to me? ;)

PARTY!

Hey guys, I'm back again! Little update on whats going on in my life. Since I've finished school I haven't been doing a thing. Seriously. All I've done is play on my Xbox and maybe go to my boyfriends (lets call him C from now on..) house but that is it.

Anyway, yesterday was a friend from school's 18th and me and C went along with quite a few other people we know. It's safe to say it was eventful.. When we first got there the bar wasn't even open and me and C were the only people from our school there. We weren't early, we were later than the actual start time so everyone else was just later..

After maybe 10 minutes a few of our friends came and we sat there for a while talking as we waited for the bar to open and soon enough it did so everyone went up to get drinks. C went up to get me one, but then I had to go up with my ID just so /he/ could buy it for me.. So that took the piss..

Then unsurprisingly, another friend came who said he wasn't coming earlier in the day. I pestered him for maybe 10 minutes about 20 minutes before it was starting telling him he had to come because he'd regret it if he didn't and with a little pushing from another friend of his, he came! And as far as I know he had a good time so all is well that ends well or whatever that saying is..

A few hours into the party, one of my friends was being stalked/pestered by a girl who thought they were together.. (they weren't) and she wouldn't leave him alone.. Then much to everyones surprise she ended pulling another lad for a few minutes, only stopping for maybe 5 seconds to catch her breath.. Honestly, I don't know why but I've never laughed so much.. I couldn't stop. Her friends then came out of the toilets and pulled her away and then I think they went home but the lad involved was pretty pleased with himself I think.

The same guy towards the end of the night had the alcohol hit him like a tonne of bricks i think because one minute he was fine, the next he was going all floppy and nearly falling asleep next to me. Me and C swapped places because I just knew he was gonna throw up and before we knew it, he did.. It wasn't nice.

Now guys and girls have different ways of dealing with throwing up because all the girls were taking pictures of him and laughing and all the guys were trying to help him. They finally managed to get him to the toilets and then 5 minutes later security was carrying him outside while the bar staff cleaned up. Apparently he couldn't stand and about 5 people had to try and get him into a car so i think that would have been funny to watch.

After he went everything died down a little and soon we all left. While in the taxi me and C decided we're going to see Guardians of The Galaxy tomorrow and I'm not quite sure what to think of it from the advert. It looks a little weird but cool at the same time so I'll just have to see.. Afterwards we're going for a pub lunch or maybe just a drink so overall it should be a good day. :)

Have any of you guys got any stories of nights out to tell?
Have any of you seen Guardians of The Galaxy because I'd love your opinions on it too!

ASDFGHJKL!

GUUUUUUYYYYYYYYSSSSSSS! I GOT THE APPRENTICESHIP! NOT ONLY THAT BUT I GOT THE ONE I WANTED TOO!!

I'm so happy, you don't even understand it. I got the call on friday and I haven't stopped smiling since. :D

Anyway, on Saturday I went fishing with my dad.. I CAUGHT A FISH! Well I caught a few but I'm happy about that because I haven't been fishing with him for a while so I'm not used to doing it anymore. Anyway, it was nice spending time with him :)

Yesterday was the last day of the Giants Spectacular in Liverpool and me, my boyfriend and my mum went over to watch them pass through for the last time. It's safe to say, it was amazing! The detail in the giants features was just, excuse the pun, spectacular. I took a few photo's so I'm gonna put up my favourites ! :)

What have you guys been up to over the weekend then? Done anything fun? :)

UPDATE!

I'm just going to state straight off now, I should live in Antarctica or somewhere cold because i CAN NOT handle this heat! I feel like a witch, you know when they touch water they melt? I feel like that but with heat and not water, I'm physically melting and I don't have any spare height to give away, I'm small enough as it is!

As far as my application to Unilever is going, I've recently had the assessment centre and now all I have to do is air for my feedback. If I get it, I'll be ecstatic! If I don't I suppose I'll be a little downhearted but I mean, obviously it wasn't the job for me. Plus, they've said if we aren't successful, they'll give us feedback so we know what we're good at and not so good at, which will be really useful for the next time we do an interview..

I've been with my crush now in a relationship for a little over a week (so i can use boyfriend instead of crush now!) and compared to the last dreadful one I was in, I'm really happy, he makes me laugh, we like the same things, his friends are my friends so now I can just hope that we last haha! I mean, I really hope it does. :)

Anyway, as for today, I've just opened the front door to a delivery man while wearing short dungarees and no shirt at all.. I think it's safe to say that was embarrassing! :S But it's too hot to wear clothes!

How are you all dealing with the heat? Ice baths? Cool showers? Or are you soaking it in and sunbathing? :)

I AM NO LONGER A CHILD! (AS OF TOMORROW...)

I am halfway there to becoming an actual adult.. I'm not sure whether I should be happy about this..

The reason it's only halfway is because I officially, officially left school today, we had our leavers assembly. It was sweet, there were certificates, little presents and at the end there was a presentation full of pictures of everyone from year 7 to the end of year 13. Basically 7 years of our lives were spent there and even though everyone says "Thank god i've left" "I'm not sad i'm leaving" including me, I think everyone did get a little emotional.. Maybe on the inside because I've basically spend my whole teenage life there. Our head of year started crying saying she'd miss us and that she'd see everyone later at prom.. Too bad I'm not going..

Now that brings me round to the other half of becoming an adult.. As you may or may not know, I turn 18 tomorrow. This is the other half of me becoming an adult. The reason I'm not going to prom, (like I said in the last post), is because I don't really want to get in at 4am tomorrow to sleep until 1pm, to wake up and go for a driving lesson (my FIRST driving lesson) while hungover.. So I think my reasoning is pretty valid.

Did you have a Sixth Form prom? How was it? Any stories you'd like to share? ;)

WHATS HAPPENING AROUND ABOUT NOW?

Hey guys, it is the 3rd July today and I've got a few things coming up over the next few days or even the next week.

Tomorrow is my school's leavers assembly for Sixth Form, which is me! So I have to go in at 9 for that so that should be nice to see everyone one last time. Also, tomorrow is also the day of our Sixth Form Prom, but, I'm not going. I used to be excited about going, I really did, like how my brother described his I was excited about going but since we've gotten a new head teacher it's just changed so I'm not going.

Another reason I'm not going is that, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY ON SATURDAY! Yes, just two days from now I turn the huge age of 18! I'm joking, it's not huge but it's a big birthday. I'm not having a party, unlike every other newly-turned 18 year old. I don't see the appeal in parties. I understand that everyone is happy and stuff but again, I don't see the appeal of bringing people over to my house or a venue, for me to watch them drink and get drunk on my behalf.. Even if they are my friends. Also on Saturday, I HAVE MY FIRST DRIVING LESSON! A present off of my parents. I'm nervous, but I'm excited at the same time.

Sunday, I doubt I'll be doing anything, probably just relaxing like Sundays are made for. :)

Monday, at 6-8pm me and my parents are going to a Work Familiarisation and Open Evening for my apprenticeship so I'm excited and nervous for that.

So they're my plans for the next few days. What are yours? Or if you don't have any plans, what would you like to be doing over the next few days?

STILL WAITING AND NEW IDEAS

I am still waiting for my MacBook.. After a few weeks, I had expected to have it by now. I'm still going to wait until I get it to do a big update from last weekend because I just want to really.. :')

Anyway, about this new idea.. I was speaking to another blogger the other day after she posted her first vlog on YouTube and I asked her if she was nervous when she was making it and posting it and I said that I want to start vlogging but I'm too nervous to do it. I realised afterwards that the reason I'm so nervous is literally because of the size of YouTube itself.

I mean it's huge!

The whole idea that millions of other people go on YouTube daily makes me nervous because I feel that if I make a vlog, I have millions of people out there who could be judging me or just saying things to or about me and it makes me uncomfortable. So the idea I had was because I'm interested in IT and coding/programming, I was thinking that I could create a website, like YouTube that is just for vloggers and people who like vlogging. Because I don't know about you, but to know that everyone who uses a site that I upload a video on, likes the idea of people vlogging makes me a lot more comfortable.

What do you think? Would it make you feel more comfortable to vlog on a site only made for vloggers? Could you give me any ideas of things to include on the site? Like colour schemes, site names, anything.. I'd love for you all to be involved!

Also, say hello to my new mascot! I designed her myself! ;)

THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM (UPDATE WISE)

The reason for this title is because post wise, it basically says what's going to happen. This post is going to be a small update before a large one when i FINALLY get my MacBook!

Recently, I've been looking a lot at starting the sport of Wakeboard and you'll understand why from the next post. It looks really fun to do plus I'll be able to keep my fitness up when doing it. If i get this apprenticeship I'll be able to go weekly and still have a bit of money left over which is a bonus!

Also, today i was watching some JacksGap videos and he started his channel basically because he finished school and was one his gap year. My summer holidays officially start on 17th July but i doubt I'll start a channel then. But i was thinking today, if i was to start a channel, I'd start with challenges like Cinnamon Challenge or Chubby Bunny or something..

What do you guys think? Do any of you have channels i could take a look at? If you don't and were going to start one, how would you start it?

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH

I'm so annoyed! So so f*cking annoyed!

The amount of times in the last few weeks of school that I have been told that I'll have finished school by 20th June and for me to actually get here and have not finished has not impressed me big time.

All because this teacher told me he was gonna help me for two hours and didn't turn up, then when i gave him my work didn't f*cking mark it. Looks like I'll have to go back on Monday to finish, oh yay.. -.-

But for now, I'm going to calm down by watching a bit of SacconeJoly's, then spend the night in with my dad watching the FIFA World Cup. :)

Anything annoyed you guys recently? Was something supposed to happen and just didn't? Also, how do you all calm down when you're angry? I need new techniques.. :')

I HATE WAITING

I am probably the most impatient person I know, it's probably my downfall. I have this thing where if i apply for something and they don't reply with the next few days, i haven't gotten it. Or if i message someone and they don't reply in the next minute, they don't want to speak to me. But then I have this thing were if I'm standing with someone and they're impatient, it really gets on my nerves.. Contradictory, i know. ;)

The reason I'm being impatient though is because I still haven't received the MacBook I won, and i really really want it! Since I won though, I've been thinking about designing more and more things because I've realised my imagination can be pretty good sometimes! I've just been watching a Zoella vlog and she's said that she'd like us to design her book cover for her and i already have an idea of what I'm going to draw for it.

Aside from that, we have a new kitchen! Well, when i say a new kitchen i mean new tiles on the walls.. Still it's a nice change. :)

Anything new happened in your lives recently? Any changes that you're happy or unhappy about?

A FURTHER UPDATE ON LIFE

Hi guys! Its been a while since my last post so I thought I'd come back and give you another update on how my life is going!

APPRENTICESHIP
As you may or may not know if you've read the last few posts of my blog, I've applied for an apprenticeship with the company Unilever! They're this big company who are mixed in with almost everything, from food to shampoo! Anyway, I got a reply from my initial application telling me I had got to the next round of the process, which was a small online comprehension test.

So I did a practise and thought, okay this be fine.. But when I got to doing the actual test, my heart was pounding and the 4 minutes I had for each test just flew by! So when I had finished, my heart sank because honestly, I feel like I've done terribly. It didn't even give me my results at the end so I have to wait for them to email me, telling me whether I was good enough or not :/ It's safe to say I'm nervous!

SCHOOL/COLLEGE
Recently, my school has been going through the process of changing from a normal school to an academy. This basically means that someone has been kind enough to sponsor the school and give it better things.. The name is changing, the uniform is changing and to be honest, I think everything is changing because it really needs it.

Anyway, the school put up a competition to design the new school badge, when our form tutor told us this we were like "Oh, we don't care.. We won't be here.." and then she told us first place prize is the new Apple iMac and 10 runner ups will be getting the new iPads and we were instantly getting involved.. So I designed one and gave it in and a few teachers have been telling me that they really like my design and that it was really imaginative, so I hope I win that! I mean, if I get a place in the apprenticeship and win the iMac, it'll be perfect!

SOCIALISING
In my first few posts I explained a situation I was in and I wasn't the happiest person alive around then. As an overview, basically the guy I speak to most in school, who I hang around with and work with has a girlfriend whose been off at uni for the last year. Me and this guy hadn't spoke much before this year and people starting telling his girlfriend that we were too close for comfort and it cause him and his girlfriend to argue over how close we were and whether we should speak or not, and for a while we didn't speak.

But recently, his girlfriend came back from uni and a few days ago she messaged me, apologising for making me feel like she hated me and wanted to hit me. I told her that I completely understood where she was coming from and that I was sorry for everything that I caused. Now, ever since we're just speaking about shit and it's great. I'm actually really glad we're getting along to be honest.

Anyway, that's all that's happened in my life since my last post, I hope you enjoyed reading it.

Anything happening in your lives? :)

DRUNK BROTHER

I'm not the only girl in the world with an annoying brother whose even more annoying when he's drinking right? Any other time he treats me like crap, and i treat him like crap back (but hey, we're family right?). But when he's drinking, he just decides all of a sudden i can't look after myself and it's so annoying.

I mean i love him and everything, but he's such a contradicting person, i can't deal with it.

Please tell me some of you have to deal with this too?

GRAND NATIONAL

Today was the only ever time in the year that I (or more so, my dad) put a bet on! It was always around the beginning of April that I always start asking, "What date is the national on?" "Can I pick horses?"  "How many?". Every single time my dad always says to me, don't pick a horse just because you like the name, they'll never win. Guess what I did every time?

Picked a horse because I liked the name.. BUT ever since I was little I've always done it, and recently for the past few years, I've been getting money from my horses coming in the top 3-5! This year was more difficult though, none of the horse' names popped out to me so I really didn't know who to pick!

In the end, I picked Rocky Creek and Double Seven, which came 3rd and 5th! My dad said i'll end up getting £19 which is okay, I got £32 last year though I think..

How did you all do? Did you bet at all? What horses? and how much did you win?

PET PEEVES

Surely everyone has those couple of things that really annoy them right? Well, as you may tell from the title, I'm about to tell you mine!

1. Grammatical Errors - I don't even know why this annoys me, its just when I see someone of Facebook or Twitter and they can't spell or "Rite lyk dis." I have an overwhelming urge to find them and hit them in the face with a dictionary.

2. When people don't turn the taps off fully - I can't be the only one who gets extremely annoyed when someone don't turn it tight enough and it just trickles. The noise itself is annoying but I seem to be the only person in the house who can hear it!

3. When a family member leaves my bedroom door open when they leave - If my door was closed before you came in, HOW HARD IS IT TO CLOSE IT AGAIN ON THE WAY OUT!?

4. When a family member leaves my light on when they leave - This is exactly the same as number 3, TURN IT OFF!

5. Being tickled - I'm sure many of my friends can back me up with this, but I seem to be the most ticklish person in the world! In school my friends just poke my sides or actually tickle me and I burst out laughing and usually end up on the floor, but it's weird, because I like it but don't like it.. O.o

6. When people get details wrong about books or films i like - I don't even know why, I know nobody knows everything about everything but I find myself correcting people a lot.

7. Getting distracted - If I'm getting really into a book or a film and I have all of my concentration on it, I will literally ignore everyone until someone annoys me to the point where I snap at them. Let's just say I'm not good at multi-tasking, but when I get into something I don't want to be distracted, is that too much to ask?

8. When someone tries or does take my food or my phone - When i have both things I get very protective. It's not like I have anything bad on my phone, I just like knowing it's my position or near me. When it comes to food, well.. First rule of being my friend, my food is /my/ and if you ask for some I will most likely say no, I just love it too much.

9. When my mum cleans my room - OH MY GOD. I hate it so much. Yes, by the time she has to clean it, it's a complete mess but I /know/ where everything is in there. Then I'll come home from Sixth Form and find it brand spanking new and I have /no/ clue where anything is.

That's pretty much all I can think of at the moment, but comment with peeves that you have or if you agree with any of mine! Thanks!

BLOGGING

Due to my love for writing and my stupid low self-esteem, I've wanted to start a blog for ages. Countless times I've made them and they've ended up going nowhere because of one of two things;

  1. I've completely given up because I believed the blog was inadequate and that nobody was reading.
  2. I have completely forgotten about the whole thing and have also forgot the password.
Anyway, recently, I've started watching YouTube vlogs again and it just made me realise how much I actually missed writing down what happened in my day and how everything made me feel. But also, due to blogging there have been a few problems I am facing;
  1. I have no idea who to follow! Bloglovin' is such a great help and it lets me keep an eye on the blogs I'm interested in.
  2. Most of the blogs I can see on there are to do with fashion, and if you ever met me, you'd understand that I'm the furthest away from fashion a girl can ever be. I would rather pull on some skinny jeans, trainers and a hoodie than pull on a dress, high heels, do my hair up etc.
  3. Bloglovin' also has trouble telling me how many people are following my account. The actual counter tells me I have 6 at the moment, but when I actually click to see who they are, it only shows 4, I mean, what the hell!?
  4. I have no idea what to write about! Yes, I suppose I could write things like my bucket list or pet peeves or something, but there's only so much you guys will want to read about me, and I don't have a very interesting life at the moment.
Since a few of you have been here for a while, could you guys give me any advice?
When you started, what did you write about?
Plus, does your bloglovin' account have any of the same problems mine does?

MOTHERS DAY!

It's mothers day guys! I don't really know why I'm so excited about it, considering I'm not a mother and all that but..

I don't know. I like the idea of treating my mum. Me and my brother aren't the easiest of people to look after, we always fight and we're pretty lazy. Plus the fact that I don't have a job means that I can't buy her gifts or anything often and it actually upsets me. Although, I'm guessing like most mothers, she tells me that she doesn't want me to buy her anything but I still do.

I don't have much money so I usually buy the same things, flowers, chocolate, a card etc. I didn't get chocolates this time though, I got her a film she's wanted to see for a while, Philomena. I know it isn't much compared to the gifts that some people get their mothers, but it's all I can get right now.

Anyway, what did all you guys get your mothers today?
