TOUR

So yesterday I got given a tour around the places I'm going to work. It was so amazing! There are two sites that I'll be working on and me and the other apprentice are going to be working in one or the other, depending on which one is easier for us to get to. But oh my god, I've never been so overwhelmed with the amount of cool stuff there. Now this is where I go full nerd, because it is IT and it was just full of IT things and I was in awe of everyone who was already working there because they got to work with such cool stuff!

For lunch we got taken to this little pub and our soon to be bosses paid for our lunch. I got a duck wrap with a few chips. My favourite part was probably the chips, they were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The duck wrap on the other hand, I was a bit disappointed. Now, if you know me, you'll know I absolutely love duck, duck pancakes, duck wraps.. ANYTHING with duck in. But this wrap.. there was too much wrap itself, the sauce was just a little thicker than the consistency of water and there was too much lettuce in it.. I may just be being picky there though..

I got home from it all around 4/4:30pm and had my dinner, Spaghetti on toast! (most amazing small dinner ever!) and then I went to see C. His mum and brother are coming home from holiday today so he was cleaning up for most of the day. We watched Lone Ranger and Dark Souls, it was a Johnny Depp kinda night and then he walk me home around 10 ish. That's where i got in bed and fell asleep around 11 ish i think (quite early for me really!) :)

What did you guys do yesterday? Did anybody go and get their GCSE results? If so, congrats on whatever you got!

ASDFGHJKL!

GUUUUUUYYYYYYYYSSSSSSS! I GOT THE APPRENTICESHIP! NOT ONLY THAT BUT I GOT THE ONE I WANTED TOO!!

I'm so happy, you don't even understand it. I got the call on friday and I haven't stopped smiling since. :D

Anyway, on Saturday I went fishing with my dad.. I CAUGHT A FISH! Well I caught a few but I'm happy about that because I haven't been fishing with him for a while so I'm not used to doing it anymore. Anyway, it was nice spending time with him :)

Yesterday was the last day of the Giants Spectacular in Liverpool and me, my boyfriend and my mum went over to watch them pass through for the last time. It's safe to say, it was amazing! The detail in the giants features was just, excuse the pun, spectacular. I took a few photo's so I'm gonna put up my favourites ! :)

What have you guys been up to over the weekend then? Done anything fun? :)

GADGET SHOW 2014!

Firstly, I'd like to apologize for not posting recently, I have no idea why I haven't, so I'm sorry.

Secondly, I WENT TO THE GADGET SHOW LIVE ON WEDNESDAY! Oh my god it was so amazing! We met up at school at like 8am.. -.- and left to go to the NEC in Birmingham. It took almost 3 hours to get there, but it would have been 2 if we hadn't spent so much time in McDonalds.. What can I say, we like food.

Anyway, when we got there we had to go straight to the live show we were booked in for at 11:30am and basically ran there. Now, I'm gonna apologize beforehand for the terrible quality of the photo's. I should have taken my camera instead of just taking my phone (LG). Anyway, here are a few photo's..

There were so many people!

There were also these girls that came out with flaming batons and they were twirling them around. I didn't expect it at all.

And then the presenters popped out of a cake!!

These guys were also there, they're actually amazing. They dance in full darkness as their suits have neon lights on. If you haven't seen them before, they're called the Wrecking Crew Orchestra. Give them a watch!

The Maverick Slacklines were also there! It was so amazing seeing what they can do on just  "a flat line of webbing" as they call it.

After the show we walked around for about 3 hours, looking at everything that was there. It went from 5D simulators to camera's and waterproof phones to Google glass. It was absolutely amazing! I'd recommend everyone to go.
