ONE OF THOSE BANANA PEEL MOMENTS

Yesterday for me was a big, do hardly anything productive at all kind of day.. I woke up at like quarter past 12 and it's safe to say I felt pretty moody and don't worry I know why.. it begins with a P and every single girl in the world whose over the age of lets say 11 knows what it is.. To be honest, I think so does every guy over the age of 11.. I think the next picture pretty much sums up how they feel about it..

I then got my dad to buy my bag for work since I start not next monday but the monday after. I'm so excited! Then I preceded to watch tv, CSI, Criminal Minds and The 100 to be precise. I love all 3 shows and they're so addicting to watch! I then went to my room and can't remember doing anything. I think I played FIFA. I'm not sure, i could be wrong here and then my parents went out for a drink.

I continued to play FIFA (definitely sure this time) and then my brother went out smelling like Sun Cream (he wasn't very happy when I told him :') ) and I went on Dishonoured for a while talking to C and his little brother in a party. I then went back on FIFA went K (C's little brother) left and J came on.

My parents came back in and put music on in the living room. My mum couldn't find a bobble and she was like "I don't like having my hair around my neck. Get me a bobble, I need one. Help. Please." So I got up and found one in like 10 seconds.. THIS IS WHAT ALCOHOL DOES TO YOU PEOPLE! and then she went back to the music. I somehow managed to rope myself into taking her to see The Script in the next year or so, that should be fun. And then guess what, SHE THREW UP!

I didn't know this until I walked into the bathroom and almost fell on my ass.. (Hence the banana peel moments in title) Yes, how gross is this. I stood in a bit of it, BARE FOOTED AND EVERYTHING! I NEARLY THREW UP MYSELF! I turn green just thinking about it now.. I cleaned everything up (including my foot :S ) and went into the living room like "who threw up?" mum said it was her and said she thought she'd cleaned it all up. Still gross. When I told her this morning she just started laughing.. -.-

EXTINCTION?

Recently, I've been watching a series called The 100, I don't know if any of you watch it or not but you should, cause it's great. It starts on this big space station called 'The Ark' which is made up of twelve smaller space stations. The reason they're living up i space is because the world has been mad uninhabitable by a nuclear war. That's all I'm gonna tell you about it..

But it had me wondering, remember a while ago when North or South Korea (whichever is the bad one) threatened to nuke America or something along the sorts? And the whole thing with global warming and the earth getting too hot.. If it actually happened and the earth became uninhabitable, where would we all go? Is there something like 2012 where they have massive boat things we can all live on the ocean in? Is there a few space stations in space where they can shoot us all up to, to survive in like The 100? Or is there nothing and we all just die?

I can't face the prospect of the human race not having a back up plan when the amount of ideas there are to save us are endless. I mean maybe they have done something and it's only for the rich, which if there is I'm gonna be extremely unhappy about because it's shitty and so 1920's. I mean, they wouldn't tell us about any plan would they? Our leaders I mean, because let's face it.. The people who run things at the moment are shit, it's as simple as that.

It doesn't take a genius to realise that if the world's carbon emissions are too high, we need to STOP ADDING SHIT TO IT! I don't care if we have to go back to the early ages and live off the land and have a community, because that's better than we have now. We'd still have wars, but swords and bows and spears are so much better than a fucking nuclear bomb!

I just really wanna know what plans the government has for humanity if theres a nuclear war, or if the earth succumbs to global warming, because I'm not gonna be very happy if the human race dies when we've had enough time to get ideas down and build things that will help us survive.

To be quite honest, you could start building a huge space station now, enough space for the whole planet. Each country build a different piece and then send it up and put it all together! It'd give everyone something to work together for rather than fight all the time. Once important sections are built, like farming and life support, try and send stuff up that'll help. See if animals can survive the trip and if they can, send a few hundred up and start breeding them, build up enough food and keep it sustainable. After that send a few people at a time, groups of people who would be needed up there, like doctors, teachers, engineers, farmers.. Then send more people up and before you know it..

GUESS WHAT!?

YOU HAVE A COMMUNITY THAT FUCKING WORKS!

DUDE, YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN

From now on, I'm going to post the day after about the day before , if that makes any sense at all. Basically, if you watch the SacconeJoly's they post videos of the day before, the day after so they get the whole day in the video. So basically, today's post will be about yesterday, tomorrow's post will be about today etcetera etcetera.

So yesterday I woke up at 12, my usual time for the summer holidays (my last summer holidays :'( ) and sat in the living room for about half an hour. I then spent another half hour doing f*ck all. It was at 12:15 that I realised I should probably get ready as I was supposed to be leaving to go to C's at 12:30. In those 15 minutes, weirdly enough I managed to get dressed, wash my face, clean my teeth and straighten my hair and then also leave for his.

On the way I popped into a few shops and bought some Beef Jerky (to die for), Fizzy Laces, Kinder Bars, Magic Stars (again to die for) Pringlesand Haribo Roulettes. I text C most of the time saying "do you want me to get you anything from the shop?" and he usually texts back no but I think he does that because he knows that I'm gonna buy stuff anyway..

So I got all that and went to his and we watched The Longest Yard and while watching it he was going mental. He was rolling around and biting me and laying on top of me and I think he was high on sugar but OMG he was so annoying. But it was funny too haha. So I made him go for a walk with me to calm him down (hence the title.) We went to the shop again and bought Two Ciabatta loaves (cause I love bread)and walked back to his where we decided along with his brother to play Scene It or something we could all play.

We decided to have a go at Kinect Sports and moved everything down to "The Den". They have this little cool den down at the end of his garden so we moved the Xbox down there and it turns out the remote from the tv didn't work. So we had to move everything back inside and looked on the Store for some games and we decided to get F1 Race Stars.

We played that for a good while before stopping and guess whose the best racer? ME! Me and C then went back to his room afterwards and watched Looney Tunes Back In Action cause who doesn't love the Looney Tunes? After that finished he walked me home and he told me how nerdy people could be on FIFA. Turns out he isn't as big of a nerd as he could be, but he's still a pretty big one haha!

BEING A GOOD CITIZEN

From the picture, can you guess what I did in the last few days? Yeah, I did the Ice Bucket Challenge on Monday i think it was. C got nominated on Sunday and of course, he was going to nominate me and his brother. So before he got home from work, I went to his house to see his brother. His Aunt and Uncle were there so I got to meet them. They're lovely. :)

Another of our friends came, J, and we then went on a hunt for some ice. Now, we went to a mini Tesco, no ice. Then Heron Foods, Ice section, no ice. We then went to the Co-Op and there was Ice there so we bought 3 bags and took them back to C's.

We put the ice in the freezer and waited for him to get back. Meanwhile, I'd found a Nerf Gun and decided to sit in the hall opposite his door and wait for him to come home and when he opened the door, I opened fire and shot him multiple times with his own gun. Mwahahahaha!

It was then time for the challenge and it went in order of C, J, me and C's little brother. It wasn't that bad. The first few seconds of when the water touches you, you go into shock and you freeze up a little (haa, pun!) but then when you put a towel around yourself, you warm up pretty quickly.

Then yesterday, I had a driving lesson and I did a hill start! It was terrifying and cool at the same time! That'enough on that.

Anyway, I spoke to C about the whole YouTube idea and he was like "well, why don't you do it?" But I've given myself a time when I'm going to start a YouTube Channel and that's when I get my own place, where I can fully be myself.

Book-et List

Hey guys, just a little post to let you know I've made a new page called "Book-et List" which basically has a list of books I want to read. You can find it here..

"I DON'T NEED TO LOOK, I'M PSYCHIC.."

Those are the words that i said to my driving instructor today.. "I don't need to look, I'm psychic.." The reason being I was driving around a corner and didn't check my mirrors. It's only my 5th lesson and I haven't drove in around 3 weeks because my instructor had 2 weeks holiday and then I had my holiday when he came back. We have fun though, we've noticed every time i change gear, I rub my nose. I just get an itch when I change gear :')

Yesterday I went to dinner with my parents, we went to the local pub and I had Steak with Chips and Salad and a "side" of Cajun Chicken or whatever it was. It was lovely. I tasted scampi too, it tasted like prawn really. I mean, I like prawn, at christmas, my auntie buys a prawn ring just for me when we go over on boxing day.. But I don't think I'd ever have it for dinner fully, its just too small for me.

TOUR

So yesterday I got given a tour around the places I'm going to work. It was so amazing! There are two sites that I'll be working on and me and the other apprentice are going to be working in one or the other, depending on which one is easier for us to get to. But oh my god, I've never been so overwhelmed with the amount of cool stuff there. Now this is where I go full nerd, because it is IT and it was just full of IT things and I was in awe of everyone who was already working there because they got to work with such cool stuff!

For lunch we got taken to this little pub and our soon to be bosses paid for our lunch. I got a duck wrap with a few chips. My favourite part was probably the chips, they were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The duck wrap on the other hand, I was a bit disappointed. Now, if you know me, you'll know I absolutely love duck, duck pancakes, duck wraps.. ANYTHING with duck in. But this wrap.. there was too much wrap itself, the sauce was just a little thicker than the consistency of water and there was too much lettuce in it.. I may just be being picky there though..

I got home from it all around 4/4:30pm and had my dinner, Spaghetti on toast! (most amazing small dinner ever!) and then I went to see C. His mum and brother are coming home from holiday today so he was cleaning up for most of the day. We watched Lone Ranger and Dark Souls, it was a Johnny Depp kinda night and then he walk me home around 10 ish. That's where i got in bed and fell asleep around 11 ish i think (quite early for me really!) :)

What did you guys do yesterday? Did anybody go and get their GCSE results? If so, congrats on whatever you got!

WHAT THE FUDGE IS GOING ON!?

GUYS, why the f*ck do you need to sign so much paperwork to just work! Oh my god! I got my Apprenticeship Agreement form, Terms and Conditions, Medical Questionnaire, Personal Details and Bank Details before and I have never been more confused in my life.. I mean, being an 18 year old, I expected to at least know a little about this stuff but I was baffled.. I really was. All I know is that if I f*ck up in the first 12 weeks of my employment, I'm getting fired, and I /really/ don't want that to happen.

They should teach this stuff in school, there should be an Employment Education class. I suppose we kinda did it in PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education) but all I can remember doing is making a CV and watching Mean Girls (Best. Film. Ever.) I can remember as soon as the teacher would say, what film do you want to watch, immediately everyone (including the guys) would just go "MEAN GIRLS!". But seriously, they need to teach us how to fill this sh*t in! I was sitting there with my mum saying "What does it mean?" "Where do I sign?" "Have I done it right?"

Fortunately enough though, it's all done with and now I can sit here and get excited about my tour tomorrow. I'm going down to chester for 9am and I'm getting a tour of where I'm working and meeting the people I'll be working with. I'm so EXCITED!

IRELAND

You know guys, I only just realised I didn't show you the photos I took from my holiday!

OUCH

Guys.. I'm in pain. It's the lower part of my back.. My mum seems to think I have a Kidney Infection and she's told me to drink loads of water but I do that anyway so I doubt thats going to help. Before I move on, anyone know what the pain could be?

ANYWAY

Yesterday, I went to see C again. I met him after work and he asked me if I wanted to go to Wetherspoons for dinner but I said no. I like to eat out and stuff, but I don't want him spending his money on me because he feels like he has too. We went back to his and we watch World War Z.. I've never seen it before so I didn't know what to expect but it was good! I liked it. I never used to be a fan of zombie films cause I used to be terrified of zombies. I went to watch The Walking Dead like a year or two ago and started from season 1 (Obviously..)

Now if you've seen it, you'll know that in the first episode there's a part where there is a little girl walking around. Of course she's a zombie and it creeped me out so much. I have this thing with horrors, i mean its not like I watch much of them anyway, but if there is a kid in it, mainly a little girl who is possessed or a zombie or anything like that, I can't deal with it. Adults I'm fine with (still terrified but i can handle them more than kids.) but the kids in the movies scare the shit out of me.

After that we watch The Great Mouse Detective because who doesn't love the Disney/Mouse version of Sherlock Holmes! As soon as we saw it on Sky On Demand or whatever it was we were on, we both shouted "Oh my god!" It's safe to say we're still both children at heart ;)

HONEY, I'M HOOOOOOOOOME

I think my title and photo here pretty much sums up whats happened in the last few days.. If you haven't caught the just of it.. I'M HOME!

It was a journey back though, we left the village we were staying in at like 12pm and started the 6 hour drive to Dublin port. We got there at 6, got let on the boat at 7 and the boat left the port at 8pm. I took my laptop onto the ferry with me and sat there watching films for the 4 hour sail, it went pretty quick really.

We got to holyhead at 12am and then set off on the 2 hour car journey home and we got home at like 2am. Instead of going straight to bed like I planned, we stayed up for a while talking to my brother who stayed home while we were in Ireland. He was fine, drunk, but fine. :')

Yesterday, i didn't do anything, I sat at home doing nothing at all and I don't know how I did it. Yesterday is just empty of memories until 8, when i went to see C. We watched part of The Hangover Part 3 and then the beginning of Judge Dredd before I came home again.

Today though, I went to school to pick up my results and then I came home, now i'm trying to sort out the travelling for my work which starts in about 2 or 3 weeks. I'm really excited. But the shortest travelling time is an hour and a half which I'm not that happy about.. :/

PROJECTS

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but a while back I came up with an idea for a project I'd like to do. It's a website idea really that to me, is a good idea. But I need your advice on it as well because in turn I'm making it for you guys as well.

This is the idea so far and what you see in the photo is all I've coded so far. Basically, the idea is;

  • I want to create a website which is just for Vloggers, whether its personal vlogs or fashion vlogs or any type of vlogs.
  • The reason I want to create it just for vloggers is because for a while now, I've wanted tvlog but I've been too nervous too because of the sheer size of YouTube because no matter how many times you tell yourself, I don't care what anyone else thinks of me, you always worry about what people are going to say about you. That's what I'm worried about.
  • So I thought, that wouldn't happen as much in a place where everybody wants to do the same thing, vlog. So I started to code it and so for I think it's turning out pretty good. I'm going to call it VlogLog as you can see.
If you guys could give me your opinions on this it'd be great because I really need your help with this. So whether its something you like or something you don't like, could you comment on what you think? Also, could you guys tell me things you think it would be good to have on the site because that would help too.

ALSO

The reason the title is plural and not single "Project" is because I have another idea in mind. But I need to talk to C about it because I need him to be involved with it for it to work.

ANYWAY

If you guys could comment on your thoughts on/of VlogLog, it'd be great. :D

AGGHHHHHHH

So guys, I got my final results ever from school today! I was terrified to get them because there was a load of plagiarism going around over the last week and we all had to change our work just in case ours got copied so none of us knew if we got our grades or not.

I GOT MINE!

I got the grades I was expected so my dad is giving me some money :D

How did all you guys do? Did you get the grades you wanted/needed?

HOLIDAY

One of my friends said the last few posts have been less writing and more answering questions so I'm gonna take a break from that.

Anyway, HOLIDAY! I'm still currently in the middle of nowhere stealing wifi from the pub next door, but they don't care.. I hope.

Most of this holiday has just consisted of me stealing wifi, eating, sleeping, and spending time in the pub.. All of those things except the last have made me feel a little like cat-woman.. Because she steals and cats like to eat and sleep so it's all good for me. This post is gonna be pretty short because I'm about to go down to the pub again. i hope you're all having fun!

THE ONE TIME I TOLD A HUGE LIE AND KINDA GOT AWAY WITH IT

To be honest, I'm not much of a liar, I can't lie. The corner of my lip twitches, or I laugh, or I can't keep eye contact with the person I'm lying to. So whats the point in lying when I can't get away with it? Due to this, I'm going to tell you a lie I told when I was in like, year 2 maybe. So I was about 6?

Anyway, in my primary school, the teachers did this thing were if you needed the toilet, you moved your name from a board onto the toilet space so they knew where they were and if another kid could go or not. This one time I needed the toilet and being the impatient person I am, I went to ask the teacher if I could go the toilet. They looked at the board and saw that another girl was there so they said no and I went away in a huff..

I then came up with this plan which was to move the girls name off of the board even though she wasn't back and ask again. So I did it and then went to ask again and as the teacher looked at the board, they saw there was no name so they said yes. I put my name on the toilet spot and went. Now when I got back, the teacher pulled me aside and started having a go at me because I went to the toilet the same time as somebody else. I mean, how could you shout at me for needing the toilet? Geez.

Anyway, our school had this system that if you were good all week and had no "consequences" you got a little certificate at the end of the week saying well done. (I got 2 consequences throughout my whole time at primary.) The teacher gave me a consequence and wrote my name on the board, I can't remember if i cried or not, I probably did..

At the end of the week, everyone who had no consequences got their certificates and there was me with no certificate. When my mum and dad picked me up, they were like "where's your certificate?" and I just said, "I put it in my bag already.." (ANOTHER LIE!?) and walked to the car with them.

I know its not a huge lie and now I just laugh at it, but at the time I probably cried and felt really bad about lying to my mum and dad, cause I was pretty much a nerd and loved being the teachers pet.. :S

THE DAY I LEFT HOME

Hey guys, I’m sorry I didn’t post yesterday but I was having a bit of a dilemma with my dad and he was p*ssing me off so I didn’t really feel like writing anything.. So today I’m going to make 2 posts hopefully of 2 themes.

ANYWAY

Theme 4 is about the day I left home. I haven’t actually left home yet so I guess I could either leave it out all together or write what I think it’ll be like and then when I do eventually leave home I can use it as a comparison and make a post about that! :D

I think leaving home is something that everyone thinks about when they’re younger. I mean its one of those things that you can’t wait for until it actually happens and everyone has to admit that when they were in school they said to one of their friends, “Oh, I cant wait until I can move out..”. Everyone has done it., even I have. I mean, I still cant wait to move out, I cant wait until I have my own apartment which I can decorate as I like and I can leave things lying around the place, it just seems like a perfect place to me, my own space for my own things. I would be able to invite my friends round whenever I wanted, eat whatever I wanted at whatever time of the day without someone saying anything.

There is that side of the idea of moving out, but then I also think there is another side of moving out which I’m not looking forward too that much. That part is, missing my parents. Considering I have spent the last 18 years of my life stinging from their generosity as JacksGap would say, I think the idea of getting things from my own back and not having them constantly there when something goes wrong is something that worries me. No matter how many times you say to your parents “I don’t need your help” or the amount of times you don’t listen to their advice, I think its safe to say, you’ll always need them there. I know that even though I’m constantly saying in my head, “God, shut up mum/dad, I know what I’m doing..”

But I suppose there’s no such thing as an adventure without any hardships.. So there’s my view on moving out, I still cant wait to do it, but I know I have to prepare myself for the bad times as well as the good ones that come with living in your own place.

If any of you have left home, is any of what I said right? How did you cope with going from being dependent to independent? BUT if you haven’t left home yet, do you agree with what I was saying or do you have a different view? Tell me. :)

THEME 3 - MY FAVOURITE RECIPE

So we’re onto day 2 of my holiday.. Yesterday I went back to the cottage from the pub at around 10/11pm and just got in bed with my laptop and watched a film, Abduction to be precise. I love it. Maybe because it has Taylor Lautner in who’s just gorgeous and it also has Lily Collins in and she’s one of my favourite actresses so, I LOVE IT!

My parents got home I don’t even know when but my dad fell over or something and now his ear is all cut up and there’s blood on his pillows.. None of us know how it happened :S

ANYWAY

The theme today is my favourite recipe.. Now at home I don’t get the chance to cook a lot but from watching my mum cook, I have one favourite.. The recipe isn’t all DIY so it’s pretty simple if you want to try it yourself!

To be more specific the meal is CHICKEN CURRY (my favourite food!) and what you’ll need is:

  • ·       A can of Heinz Chicken Soup (or more than 1 depending on the amount of people. My mum uses 1 and it feeds 4 of us well so.
  • ·       A chicken! OR chicken fillets. Easy enough to get, cooked or uncooked from your closest supermarket.
  • ·       An Onion
  • ·       Mushrooms
  • ·       Rice (or chips OR both!)
  • ·       Curry Powder! Buy some in or make your own, its up to you. Brand doesn’t matter just get one that you like!
  • ·       A Pan
  • ·       A Frying Pan
  • ·       Oven (For Chips and/or if cooking chicken yourself)
  • ·       Microwave Oven (for rice)

That’s all you need! I’m going to do the recipe for cooked chicken so all you’ll need to do extra is cook the chicken previous and add it in when it says J

  1. 1.     Peel and cut up Mushrooms and Onions (whatever shape and size you like)
  2. 2.     Fry them off so they’re cooked!
  3. 3.     Get pan and pour Heinz Chicken Soup into it and heat until warm/hot.
  4. 4.     Add Mushrooms and Onions to Soup and stir in.
  5. 5.     Add Curry Powder to the mixture and stir until there is an equal spread of powder.
  6. 6.     Add in the chicken and stir until all of the chicken is covered with the mixture.
  7. 7.     Heat until you have your desired temperature.
  8. 8.     Put rice in the microwave and cook for right amount of time. (Do the same for chips in the oven if you’re having them.
  9. 9.     Plate it up and ENJOY!

I love this recipe because it’s so simple and I think it tastes amazing as well. I think its perfect for if you’re in Uni because it’s simple and fast!
