MOTHERS DAY!

It's mothers day guys! I don't really know why I'm so excited about it, considering I'm not a mother and all that but..

I don't know. I like the idea of treating my mum. Me and my brother aren't the easiest of people to look after, we always fight and we're pretty lazy. Plus the fact that I don't have a job means that I can't buy her gifts or anything often and it actually upsets me. Although, I'm guessing like most mothers, she tells me that she doesn't want me to buy her anything but I still do.

I don't have much money so I usually buy the same things, flowers, chocolate, a card etc. I didn't get chocolates this time though, I got her a film she's wanted to see for a while, Philomena. I know it isn't much compared to the gifts that some people get their mothers, but it's all I can get right now.

Anyway, what did all you guys get your mothers today?

SHOPPING

Went shopping today! (As you can probably tell from the title of the post!)

Usually when I go shopping I don't spend that much, the most I've ever spent is £70 and that was last summer on shorts and tops. They're also the girliest things I've ever bought too.

Anyway, I walked around my shopping place thingy (trying not to tell you where I'm specifically from!) for a few hours and spent £70 again on 8 things.. I'll show you!

The first thing i bought was;

My Batman Keyring! I know you think this is probably weird, but I love Marvel and DC things and batman is just the best! We went into the Lego Store and it was heaven. Unfortunately, I'd already spent most of my money so I couldn't really get anything big. But when i saw this, I needed it!

I also bought;

Marley Headphones! I don't know about you, but I think Marley make some of the best headphones! The volume and the bass that they give out is just amazing for something so environmentally friendly!

I also bought;

I also bought TMI: City of Bones because I've read the book and I love it, but have never seen the film. Now I've watched it, I love the series even more, it's amazing! I also bought The Notebook. I watched it for the first time a couple of months ago on the TV and sobbed my heart out to it. When I saw it in HMV I knew I had to have it, one of my all time favourite films!

I then bought;

A Hogwarts Express Platform 9 3/4 travel pass holder! (Which I intend to also use as a wallet) I love the Harry Potter books and films and while I was in the shop Forbidden Planet, I saw it. Saying that, there was also a Ministry of Magic version and a few others that I can't remember. If you like, Star Wars, DC, Marvel, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, The Walking Dead etc, Forbidden Planet is the place to go. It's absolute heaven. Worlds Apart is a pretty good shop for that stuff too.

And lastly I bought;

I bought the first two books of the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. I took out the first book from my school library and loved it but didn't get around to reading the second of of the series. Having a Waterstones card, I knew going there was a must and came out with two really good buys. I'll get through them in a day or two, might even post a review.

Anyway, to round up this post, I'm gonna ask;

What's the most amount of money you've ever spent shopping?
What's the best thing you've ever bought in your opinion?
Favourite films?
Favourite books?
Favourite stores even?

FACT FRIDAY #1

Yeeaaaahhhhhhh, time for the first fact Friday ever!

Honestly, I actually struggled finding a fact because.. I don't even know why to be quite honest, I didn't think anything was interesting enough. Anyway, this is the one I decided to choose.

"Only one person in two billion will live to be 116 or older."

I find this interesting because I can't really imagine what it'd be like to live that long. I mean, my dad always says that he wouldn't like to live to an age were he becomes dependant on everyone else and I can kind of understand where he is coming from.

But imagine living through a whole generation. Imagine seeing the world change over your entire life. Imagine how much you could achieve and see.

If I lived to 116, I'd have wanted a full life at least. I would have wanted a family, a successful job, travels all over the world. I don't think I would be able to live 116 years without a family. But then again, I wouldn't be able to cope with everyone I knew and was close to dying.

I suppose you'd constantly meet knew people, but I think having a rock would be nice. Someone to keep you stable and sane. That's how I'd live through 116 years.

Do you think you'd be able to cope? What would you do in your 116 years of living?

BACK TO REALITY

I went back to school today, oh yay. It's safe to say it's not my favourite place in the world right now. I mean, I used to love it. A few years ago I used to count the days down until I was back and could see my friends again. Now I'm counting the days until I finish completely.

In IT, we're creating a space invaders like game and it's going pretty well for me. I can move my main spaceship, I can shoot and I have an enemy on the screen. Me and a guy I speak to are like the only people who understand it all, but that's probably because we're interested in all that shit.

Science is just.. science really. We're doing catch up, which means sitting in the computer room doing nothing because I can't be bothered at the moment haha. To any people in school who are reading this, do not think it's a good idea to copy me. I'm going to seriously regret it. So get your work done when you're set it because it will come back and bite you on the arse.

Then comes my favourite part of the day! HOME TIME! Usually, the first thing I do when I get in is drink my coffee, I'm obsessed. When it comes to drinks, I'm not very adventurous. I literally only drink water and coffee, water more so and maybe a glass of orange or a can of coke every so often if I'm out.

As you can see, I decided to go a little adventurous. Every so often I go through a phase of having digestive biscuits (plain) and constantly dunk them in my coffee. Also every so often, I go through a phase of dunking Cadbury's Dairy Milk bars into my coffee.

Guess what?

We had neither. So I found these chocolate digestive to give a try as it's like a mix and it was the worst decision of my life. Literally. If you understand how much I love coffee and food you can see why. Even though the coffee was hot, the chocolate was still cold when you bit into it and the result was just ugh. Not even worth describing.

BUT MY DAY GOT BETTER.

Because I had chippy tea! I got salt and pepper chicken with boiled rice! So delicious! I eat both of them separate too, so as my lips were being melted off by the chicken, the rice was there to cool them down. It was so nice, I recommend it to everyone!

One more thing..

You know how some YouTube channels have certain days to do things? I've decided my Fridays are going to be FACT FRIDAYS. As in, each and every Friday, I'll find a fact that to me is really interesting and will tell you all it. I'll then explain why I find it interesting. What do you think of that?

DAY TWO OFF SCHOOL!

Don't worry, there actually is a reason that I'm off school today. If I was in school, I'd have only had one lesson and fortunately for me,  the teacher I had was taking part in the strike! (Lucky me!)

Anyway, instead of having a lie-in like everyone else who was off today, I decided to get up early to go help my dad. (It was nothing to do with the fact he promised me KFC, not at all.. ;) )

ANYWAY.. First we went into town because my dad stupidly dropped his phone into a puddle and it's completely dead. He's always moaning he doesn't like touchscreens and every time he gets a new phone guess what? Its a touchscreen. This time however he decided to play it safe and got a Nokia something for about £40 and being the most technologically advanced person in my house, I set it up for him. I got scared while we were walking to the shop though, because I was "off" school, I was supposed to be home revising or whatever people actually do at home when they're off. I saw some police officers walking towards me and my dad and as soon as the shop door opened, I ran in. I mean the last thing I wanted was some police officers taking me into school in Soul Cal & Co joggers and a mickey mouse hoodie for truanting.

Then we went to the yard and it was probably the worst idea I've ever had to wear my newest joggers because this is the filthiest I've ever gotten while working with him, I'm not ever joking. My pants, hands and face are covered in oil, grease and dirt.. At least I'm home now and my family have seen me a whole lot worse than this hah!

Have any of you guys been caught truanting? Or have you ever have an embarrassing encounter with anyone you knew while wearing the least faltering clothes ever?

DAY OFF

Due to all of the things that are happening in my life to do with school, I have decided to take a day or two off.. Yeah, yeah, I know you're probably thinking "Oh my god, she's skipping school! What a terrible, rebellious kid!" But I think I need it okay?

Anyway, like most people my age, my day has been completely unproductive! First, I watched Top Gear because I love that show! (Due to my love for cars, of course!)

Then, for lunch I made soup! I should probably explain, when I say "made" I mean, got out a pan, a tin of Heinz soup and heated it. It was delicious though and it always has to be Heinz!

Then I watched CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for a bit. I've always loved that show too! I used to want to be a Forensic Scientist until I realised blood and stuff makes my skin crawl.

Now, guess what I'm doing now.. ;)

Of course, I've been playing on my Xbox and watching Netflix. I really recommend you watching Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, by the way, I think its great!

ITS OVER

I think it's safe to say my life is over. Last weekend i went on Duke of Edinburgh and while i was there some guy i went with kissed me. That wouldn't be much of a big deal but considering i broke up with my boyfriend less than a week ago it makes me look like a bit of a slag. Even though he kissed me and not the other way around.

Now today in school another guy has been spreading shit around saying that we went further than a kiss and it's not true! Now people really do think I'm a slag and i can't take it anymore. First no one is speaking to me, second people think I'm a slag.

I don't know about you, but to me, this isn't the slightest bit good.

WHAT I LIKE

When I first made this blog, I told myself I was going to post everyday and I plan on keeping my word. However, this weekend I am going on Duke of Edinburgh and won't be here so I've decided that I'm going to do more posts today.

Like I said yesterday, the first few posts are going to be ones so you can get to know me, so that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to help you get to know me, so I'm going to tell you my interests!

But first, I must tell you that I am the most guy-ish girl you'll ever hear about so please don't think I'm weird.

  1. IT - I am in love with computers and technology and I'm currently do an A Level BTec thingy in IT. I'd love to be able to create my own websites or games in my spare time.
  2. Cars - You know when a guy sees a nice car and they stare open-mouthed at it and comment on its colour and design? Yeah, that's me. I just love them and I honestly believe that when I get a good job with good pay, I'll be spending my spare time buying and repairing cars.
  3. Food - I am probably the worlds fattest slim girl. I eat out of boredom, don't diet and don't eat healthy food yet I still manage to stay around the same weight, which I'd like to say is absolutely brilliant.
  4. Sport - When I say sport, I really do mean sport as a whole. In school, I played Rounders, Volleyball, Netball and Badminton for the school. Now I'd like to start some others, they're a bit more extreme though.
    • Snowboarding
    • Go Karting
    • Wakeboarding
    • Skateboarding
  5. Photography - I just really really like taking photographs!
  6. Hats - I have a really strange obsession with hats, from beanies to Snapbacks, I just really love hats.
That's really all I can think of for now, but see, I told you I was weird and guy-ish. Anyway, if you've read this comment on whether you like the same things as I do or just things that you like. Thank you!

ROUGH PATCH

Like i said yesterday, I've hit a rough patch in my life and i suppose i should explain everything so you understand.

Last weekend i went to a friends party and me and another friend had decided to get a taxi back home afterwards and split the cost. We'd decided that the week before and everything was fine for all of the night until the end, when said friend comes up to me and said, "oh, by the way, I'm going out after this." This is where i started to panic and wonder how i was getting home, and to be honest, my friend had pissed me off. I mean, we'd made plans and at the last minute she changes her mind? But anyway, i managed to get home and now we're not speaking.

Last year, i started talking to a guy in school and we became good friends, we like the same things, so i guess we just clicked.  Now a few months ago, another guy in my school told my friends girlfriend that we were flirting and were too close, so from then on, his girlfriend has hated my guts. Again, at the party, my friend and his girlfriend were there and ever since he hasn't spoken to me, my friend i mean.

And on a short note, i broke up with my boyfriend, we weren't together for long at all but it's still a kick in the teeth. I mean, no one speaks to me anymore.

So i thought this would be the best place for me, a blog, where people who are like me and have personal blogs, or people who like the same things as me can get along, no strings attached. Except maybe a follow or two.. ;)

WELCOME TO MATRIARCH

HELLO!

I've just finished making the blog and now I don't really know what I'm doing. I suppose I'm kind of nervous, I mean I don't know if you'll like me or the blog or not.

I guess all I can do for the first few posts is help you get to know me so I'll be posting my favourite things, what I'm interested in, what I hope will happen in the future etc.

Also, I'd really appreciate it if when you read a post, or look at my blog, you comment what is good and bad about it because I'd like to make it the best I can for you guys.

I really hope this works out, I'll explain everything in my next post.

Thanks!
